Real estate websites in India may soon witness a huge
jump in clicks and enquiries if developments on the other side of the globe are
put into action. The President of the United States, real estate tycoon, and
former reality TV Star Donald Trump is trying his hardest to fulfill his
campaign promise of putting America first even when it means putting foreigners
last.
An Emerging Paradigm
DE
globalization, in opposition of globalization it seems is in full swing, across
the globe extremist parties are taking power in countries that were earlier
model liberal democracies. One reason for this, paradoxically, is the envy of
central planning and no holds barred capitalistic growth model of China. Within
the lifetime of most of us in our thirties, China will go on to become the
largest economy in the world having begun this journey when we were just
toddlers.
Wealthy
and developed liberal democracies in Europe along with the US and Canada seem
to have run into a cull de sac from which, come what may, they are unable to
emerge. Ironically many of those in the developed world envy China and
the government in China as it can get things done despite being undemocratic.
The Indian Paradigm
There may
be a brain parity in India as hundreds of thousands of Indians no longer travel
to the US to achieve the American Dream and a brain gain as well as hundreds of
thousands return to India from North American carrying with them first world
aspirations, and expertise. As a first impulse, many thinking of returning visit
property
websites that they hope will find them a home in their country
of origin.
The
return of millions of Indian’s from America and elsewhere will mean great
things for property sites in India as numerous high value homes
will be in demand from, now former, but still wealthy NRI’s. Builders across
the country will be needed to build homes of higher specifications than they
had built thus far earning builders a higher profit. An inflow of capital too
may ignite the Indian economy as billions of dollars, following their owners,
flood into the country.
Optimism of Indian Leaders
Indian
leaders are optimistic regarding the prospect of returning NRI”s and some
heavyweight leaders in the Indian corporate sector have stated that an exodus
of Indians from North America will benefit India by reversing the brain drain,
and will lead to more clicks on property websites in India as well.
